Harrassing phone calls won't stop. They call every day at the same time 3 x per day!!!! When I pick up it is silence. No automated response, no live person, just silence, How can I get them to stop?

Low-life bill collectors who buy up junk accounts (past the statute of limitations) and harrass people for payment.

You can use either Internet Spam Controls or Call & Message Blocking available through Spam Controls (My Verizon>My Services>Verizon Safeguards>Spam Controls). If the message is originating from an email address or web domain, visit Internet Spam Controls and enter the email or domain to be blocked. Internet Spam Controls allow you to designate and block up to 15 email addresses, vtext IDs and/or Internet Domains from sending text, picture or video messages to you. If the message is originating from a phone number, visit Call & Message Blocking and enter the phone number of the individual who you wish to block. Call & Message Blocking allows you to designate and block up to 5 phone numbers from sending text, picture or video messages to you. You cannot block numbers that are within your account nor can you block non-10 digit numbers such as 911, 411 or #MIN (to check minutes used).

calling me at home, at work and anywhere they can. I want these calls to stop.

called my cell phone and did not leave amessage. I do not know of anyone from this number or how they got my cell number

this number has called 3 times in last two hours....number can not be traced back as a working number...no idea who it is....987 isnt even a real area code

They have called me 26 times now... the one time they responded to me answering the phone they tried to offer me a 50$ gift card to target. Asked for info, didn't give it to them. IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE.

Received a call from "Officer Steven Douglas" from the BCI, Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Please, people, do NOT give this guy anymore info than he may already have about you. He is very rude, unprofessional, and extremely threatening. He speaks very poor english, pronounces the number 4, as fo. First of all, the BCI does not make threats to the American public, especially regarding false Pay Day Loans. Nor would the BCI ask for a letter of apology, and then settle for a particular amount of money. This is a major scam, which I must admit, was very scarey at first. But once I read more about the BCI, I'm certain that "Steven Douglas" is indeed a scam artist, and NOT with the BCI.

This is a call centre for the National Post. Under the 'do not call list' rules they are allowed to call. I called and was connected to an actual person within 30 seconds who removed me from their list and gave me a confirmation number as reference to the fact that I'd called and been removed. The person I spoke to was quick and very polite.

When i picked up it was just quiet.

Just call the number back,Press 1 and your number will be put on the do not call list.

I have had at least 12 calls in the past 2 days from this number. Is there any way of stopping this caller.
